Terms of service
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Capbox, which runs the service at capbox.ai. By using Capbox you agree to them. Please read them with the privacy policy.
The service
Capbox keeps the accounts you connect (keys) and lets you give people and AI agents limited, revocable access to them (caps). Capbox is new and invite only. It will change, and features may come and go.
Your account
- Accounts are by invitation: a Capbox administrator adds yours.
- Keep your password and your agents' tokens safe. You are responsible for what is done with your account, your agents and the caps you make.
- If you think someone else is using your account, tell us at support@capbox.ai.
What you make and share
- You decide what each cap allows and who gets it. Whoever holds a cap can do what it allows until it expires or you revoke it, and a cap made to last forever lasts until you revoke it. Share caps only with people you trust that far.
- Connect only accounts you may use this way. Your use must follow the terms of the services you connect (such as Google and Microsoft), and any rules your employer sets.
- Your data stays yours. You let Capbox store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy policy describes.
Acceptable use
Don't use Capbox to:
- break the law or anyone's rights;
- send spam or unwanted messages, or mislead people about who is acting;
- reach accounts or data you are not allowed to;
- attack, overload or probe Capbox or the services it connects to, or get around its limits;
- harm or harass anyone.
We may suspend caps or accounts that do any of these, or that put others at risk.
Services you connect
Capbox works with services that others run. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to how you use them. We are not responsible for those services, for whether they are available, or for changes they make.
AI agents and models
Agents act on what they are told, and they make mistakes. Capbox limits an agent to what you approved, so check what you approve, and check the results that matter. Answers from Capbox's own AI features can be wrong.
No warranty
We work to keep Capbox running and your data safe. To the extent the law allows, though, Capbox is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. It may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. If we discontinue it, we will tell account holders first whenever we can.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Capbox is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or business, arising from your use of the service. Its total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid for Capbox in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.
Ending
You can stop using Capbox at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will appear here with a new date. We will email account holders about changes that matter before they apply.
